Overview of Mitosis Prezi:

Mitosis!

Recently, a few classmates and I conducted a lab in which we counted the number of different phases cells on an onion root were in. Although, it was extremely annoying and time consuming to count the different phases, we managed to get it done. Our results showed that as you progressed through the phases of mitosis the number of cells in each phase decreased. The slightly rounded percentages that the results showed were: 28% of the cells were in prophase, 8% of the cells were in metaphase, 5% of the cells were in anaphase, 3% of the cells were in telophase, and the remaining 56% were in interphase.
