Constant Velocity

I used the Vernier’s Video Physics app on the iPad in order to analyze this video. In this video we used a remote controlled car that has no acceleration, thus meaning it has constant velocity. This app allowed me to mark points on frames of the video in order to get a scaled graph of the motion. After I completed that I was able to determine the car’s velocity was .4 meters per second by taking the slope at one second intervals.

  • The video below shows both the points I put in at certain frames and the graph the app generated using those points.
